About the event
Blue & Gold is a nationwide celebration within Cub Scouts that commemorates the inception of Scouting. This event provides an opportunity for us to acknowledge and appreciate the dedication and accomplishments of our scouts, pack leaders, and parents who contribute to the pack's success. We also extend special recognition to our AOL scouts who are on the verge of transitioning from the Cub Scout program to BSA Scouts. Moreover, the occasion serves as a glimpse into the future for our younger Cubs, inspiring them to persevere and strive for their own moments of recognition on the Arrow of Light path.
Also, as a bit of fun, Pack 822 has the tradition of having a The concept is simple, each Cub Scout and their (or parent with the least baking skills) should work together to make a Cub Scout-themed cake. Each cake may be judged and special awards may be hand…
