About the event
Pack 822 Committee Chair Andy Paez would like to welcome Pack 822 to the FPL Energy Encounter at the St. Lucie Power Plant. The FPL Energy Encounter is not normally staffed, however - this very special facility will be open only to Pack 822 on Sat. 7/13 from 9-11:00 AM. Please park at PARKING LOT B (NORTH OF THE POWER PLANT)
THIS FACILITY IS BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO ONLY PACK 822 MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS.
There will be presentations on how nuclear power works. There will also be a very special presentation made specifically as a response to the HBO series on the Chernobyl Event that separates the Facts from the Fiction. All parents from scouts are welcome to attend this presentation and there will be a question and answer session following the presentation.
This event will count towards the summertime achievement award for each scout. CLASS A UNIFORMS…
